Bridget Spaeth

Bridget Spaeth is a painter. Her works on paper are parallel studies in form and material.
Born in New York City, Bridget grew up ½ hour to the north, surrounded by families with children, committed to the arts and modern architecture as lived experience.
She went on to earn degrees in art history and painting (BA Bowdoin College, BFA Maine College of Art, New York Studio School). In consort with the studio, she has worked in museums and academic libraries. She currently lives in Brunswick, Maine.
Showing regularly at destination galleries for contemporary art in southern Maine, she has been pleased to have work included in the juried Center for Maine Contemporary Art Biennial four times since 2006. In recent years her work has been seen in Brooklyn, NY and in Zen centers across the country.
