This year’s inaugural 2027 application cycle invites artists who have made this commitment and have also demonstrated a meaningful connection to the state of Maine. Whether rooted in Maine through ancestral, personal, or family ties, teaching, a long-term residency, project or community impact, this lifetime achievement grant will honor one female-identifying artist who has reason to call Maine their own.
